Service Agreement & Rules

  • Walks: We offer walks of [duration] duration, [number] times per [day/week] (depending on your chosen subscription plan).
  • Keys: Clients are required to provide a spare key or arrange for access during walks. Lost keys will be subject to a replacement fee.
  • Cancellation: We require [number]-hour notice for walk cancellations, otherwise a full walk fee will be charged.
  • Weather: Walks may be cancelled or adjusted due to extreme weather conditions.
  • Pick-up/Drop-off: We will pick your dog up from your home and return them after the walk.

Liability Waiver

This Liability Waiver ("Waiver") is made and entered into as of by and between Your Business Name, a STATE corporation with a principal place of business at YOUR ADDRESS ("Company") and Client Name ("Client").

WHEREAS, Client desires to engage Company to provide dog walking services for Client's dog(s) ("Dog(s)"), and

WHEREAS, Company desires to provide such services, subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises and the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows:

  1. Release and Waiver of Liability. Client hereby agrees to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, charges, and expenses of any kind whatsoever (including, but not limited to, attorney's fees and court costs) arising out of, or in any way connected with, the following:

    • Any injury to, or death of, Client's Dog(s) while in the care, custody, or control of Company, or caused by the actions of another dog while being walked by Company.
    • Any loss of, or damage to, Client's Dog(s) while in the care, custody, or control of Company.
    • Any injury to, or death of, a third party, or damage to the property of a third party, caused by Client's Dog(s) while in the care, custody, or control of Company.
    • Any escape or disappearance of Client's Dog(s) while in the care, custody, or control of Company.

  2. Assumption of Risk. Client acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with the use of Company's dog walking services, including, but not limited to, the risks of injury, illness, escape, or death of Client's Dog(s).

  3. Representations and Warranties. Client represents and warrants that:

    • Client is the sole legal owner of the Dog(s) or has the full right and authority to enter into this Agreement on behalf of the Dog's owner.
    • Client's Dog(s) is/are current on all vaccinations required by law.
    • Client's Dog(s) has/have not bitten or exhibited any aggressive behavior towards any person or animal in the past.

  4. Severability. If any provision of this Waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  5. Governing Law. This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State].

  6. Entire Agreement. This Waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the above service agreement and rules. I understand that Your Business Name is insured and bonded, but I assume full responsibility for any injury or damage caused by my dog during walks.
